Barton Rovers

Barton Rovers is an FA Chartered Standard club run by volunteers on a non profit basis.  All sessions are run by FA Qualified and CRB police checked coaches.  We have over 220 local children who are already members of our club playing in leagues throughout Burton, Tamworth and Derby on Saturdays and Sundays.

Soccer School

Who is Soccer School for?

Aimed at Year 1 pupils looking to join a team in the following school year.  Reception children can also attend.

Where is it and when?

St Georges Park (outdoors) — October through to Easter 2016
Time: Thursday 5.30pm—6.30pm
The cost for the year will be £2 per session, pay to play, just turn up and play

Who runs Soccer School?

Barton Rovers manage soccer school and the aim is to provide a fun football experience for children who want to play organised football.  Boys and Girls are welcome.  The sessions will be delivered in Partnership with Burton Albion Community Trust.

What equipment is needed?

Please bring shin pads, a drink and plenty of warm clothing. 

What happens after Soccer School?

During the season the team(s) will be handed over to parents who volunteer to run the teams. The club will pay for FA coaching courses and provide on going support for the team, managers and assistants.
The teams will play friendly games/tournaments in 2015/6 and play organised football from September 2016. All leagues are non competitive. Without parent volunteers who manage and organise we can not run teams.
